New Southbound Case File 1: Are there any pig cells in COVID-19 vaccines?

According to the research, COVID-19 vaccines imported or manufactured according to Emergency Use Authorization (EUA), including AstraZeneca (AZ), Moderna, Pfizer-BioNTech (BNT), and Medigen vaccines do not contain pig cells.

AZ is an adenovirus vaccine, BNT and Moderna are both mRNA vaccines, Medigen is a protein subunit vaccine. During the manufacture process, the three vaccine types mentioned above are all free of pig cells. You may put all your worries at rest.
